Michael has been involved in the energy and resources sector for three decades, is a serial entrepreneur and in 2009 founded Mt Rosey Mining Company to acquire and develop the Lava Plains mineral province.

Uwe is a career lawyer, Fellow of FINSIA, early stage angel investor in many start-up companies, formerly Chairman of ASX listed Xtek Limited.

Michael has 25 years’ experience in commodity trading, Network with Australian agricultural producers, waste management and recycling specialists, logistics suppliers, and Asian, Middle Eastern and Sub-continent end-users.

Sylvia is a materials scientist, investor in many start-up companies, has founded and taken two companies to ASX listing and held government advisory positions in the renewable energy and manufacturing sectors.

James was a Macquarie Banker (incl battery minerals and supply chain finance). Recently returned to Australia to focus on supporting Australian clean tech start-ups and new manufacture capability.

James has a number of non-executive directorships and provides contract CFO services and advice to fast-growing entrepreneurial companies. For the past 3 years, James has been the CFO at Seeing Machines.

Brian is PHD-qualified geologist with significant national reputation and working experience in North West Qld mineral province.

Rosemary is a mechanical engineer with two decades experience developing clean energy technologies.

Lava Blue engages the services of approximately 20 FTE postgraduate, doctoral and professorial level researchers at Queensland University of Technology. This dedicated cohort of world class industrial research chemists develop and translate Lava Blue directed and funded laboratory discoveries into highly value-added processes for critical materials. Facilities at QUT dedicated to the Lava Blue project include one fully equipped laboratory of >400 sq mt and access to the Analytical Research Facility.
